International Women’s Day – YOUTH AWAKE alongside the women of the Savanes Region in the commune of Cinkassé 2
Today, March 22, 2024, the YOUTH AWAKE Northern Section team, assisted by the national leadership in the person of the Executive Director, celebrated International Women’s Day in a delayed manner in the commune of Cinkassé 2 with the women of Samnaba and Nadjoundi. It should be noted that it was an excellent success, with the presence of the mayor, the main secretariat, the canton chief of Nadjoundi, and the representative of the canton chief of Samnaba.
The women made a plea to the mayor of the commune, who will forward it to his peers, particularly to the head of state.
They then presented 100 plants as a token of their contribution to the fight against climate change, which was the subject of a parliamentary bill unanimously passed on March 20 by the National Assembly.

aujourd’hui 22 mars 2024, l’équipe de YOUTH AWAKE section nord assisté par la direction nationale en la personne du Directeur exécutif, a magnifié la journée Internationale de la femme en différé à la commune de cinkassé 2 avec les femmes de samnaba et nadjoundi. Il faut souligner que c’était une excellente réussite avec la présence du maire, du secrétariat principal, du chef canton de nadjoundi et du représentant du chef canton de samnaba.
Les femmes ont fait un plaidoyer au Maire de la commune qui le transmettra à ses paires en particulier au chef de l’état.
En suite elles ont offert 100 plantes en témoignage de leur contribution à la lutte contre les changements climatiques qui a fait objet d’une loi parlementaire voté à l’unanimité le 20 mars dernier par l’assemblée nationale.
